SANUR, BALI (29/10/09)
We were all quite tired so we decided to spend a relaxing day exploring the local area, Sanur. Fred, despite having brought a small shoe shop with him, had nothing suitable for the humid tropical climate so we went sandal shopping. He managed to find a designer pair- genuine Gucci Hilfiger Polos.
Liz decided to try on some of the local fashions. She decided not to buy these items, a shame really- she could have made quite a pair with Adam (see yesterday).
Sanur Beach is home to many colourful traditional Balinese boats.
Also along the beach front are rows of these reed windmills. They are about 20 feet tall and make an incredible whirring noise.
