MAGNETIC ISLAND (11/10/09 & 12/10/09)
Our last couple of days on the island were spent relaxing in the sea and lazing on the beaches. We largely left our cameras behind so that we could both enjoy the sea without having to keep an eye on our things too. Back at our wildlife-strewn lodgings we spent the evenings drinking cold beer in the bar and watching possums wandering around and climbing the trees.
Our home for the past few days, we had become quite attached to our little wooden bungalow.
A last stroll along the beach on our last morning. Adam looks surprisingly relaxed considering that we had just received a message from budget airline Jetstar telling us that our flight was 3.5 hours delayed. And that was 12 hours before it was due to take off! (it was eventually just over 4 hours late).
